Nevertheless, a beautiful and cozy corner where the child feels inspired and comfortable makes these moments appear less dramatic.

Recently, I felt in love with old times ancient school desks, like the one in Anna of Green Gables.

Related to it, a friend brought to me a delightful story: she had a primary teacher who deeply and positively marked her. When, as an adult, she found out that the school she attended was going to close, she decided to return there and try to save her old school desk. She was incredibly lucky and finally could take it home! It still is in her daughter’s room, today.

These images I share probably don’t carry such touching stories, but you find there old school desks, some of them restored, but preserving their faults and failures, and so keeping the memories scarved on every bit of wood.
